Sketchbooks:

I have aphantasia – that means I have no mind’s eye. When I close my eyes all I see is darkness; I am unable to visualise. This might sound like a terrible impairment – it’s not. It’s wonderful. I have no preconceived ideas of what my work will look like – it all happens on the page and is very exciting!
